RUS heeft twee teams, waarvan RUS I in de Ereklasse speelt en RUS II in de Derde Klasse. RUS I draait al jaren mee in de top van het damesrugby in Nederland, met als grootste wapenfeit 7 landstitels op rij. RUS II zal zich vanaf dit jaar gaan bewijzen in de Derde Klasse.
RUS has two teams, RUS I plays in the premier division and RUS II plays in the Third division. RUS I has been among the top women’s rugby teams in the Netherlands for years, with the greatest achievement being 7 national titles in a row. RUS II will continue to prove itself in the Third Division.
RUS I
RUS I draait al jaren mee in de top van het damesrugby in Nederland, met als grootste wapenfeit 7 landstitels op rij. Het is daardoor een team bij uitstek waar je topsport kan combineren met een fantastische studententijd, want ook deze dames houden van een biertje en een goed feestje op zijn tijd.
RUS I has been among the top women’s rugby teams in the Netherlands for years, with the greatest achievement being 7 national titles in a row. It is, therefore, a perfect team where you can combine top sport with a fantastic student time because these ladies also love a beer and a good party every now and then.
rus II
RUS II zal vanaf dit jaar mee spelen in de derde klasse. Het is een hecht team waar RUSjes hun eerste minuten kunnen maken en vooral lekker kunnen rugbyen. Ben je nieuw bij rugby of wil je vooral een hele toffe sport doen naast je studie, dan is RUS II het team voor jou.
RUS 2 plays in the third division. It’s a tight-knit team where RUSjes can make their first minutes on the pitch or enjoy the sport to the fullest. Is rugby new for you or do you want to do a fun sport next to your studies? Then RUS II is the team for you.
TOEKOMST BIJ RUS
RUS is naast zijn studentikoze karakter ook echt een sportvereniging. Binnen RUS hebben we twee teams van verschillende niveaus. Wanneer je begint met rugbyen zul je binnenstromen in RUS II, dit team speelt komend jaar in de derde klasse. Meiden kunnen doorgroeien van RUS II naar RUS I. Dit team speelt al jarenlang in de ereklasse en is in totaal 7x landskampioen geworden. Een aantal van onze meiden speelt nu zelfs voor het Nederlandse XV team en de hoofdcoach van RUS is de bondscoach van Nederland! Dus ook voor ambitieuze rugbyspeelsters is RUS een geweldige vereniging!
RUS has a playful student character but is first and foremost a sports association. We have two teams with very different levels. When you just started playing rugby you will join RUS 2, this team plays in the third division. Players can grow from RUS 2 to RUS 1. For years, RUS 1 has played in the highest division and has become national champion 7 times. A few of our members even play for the Dutch national team. Our head coach is also the head coach of the national team! So, RUS is also a place for ambitious rugby players!
